In this episode, my guest talks about the revenue ops role within a new startup growing tech company, how this role allows you to break down the traditional silos of sales marketing products, and how important it is for a growing company. The reason why it’s important is that she says without customers, you don’t have revenue, so you don’t lose sight of why you’re there, and it helps to bridge the gap within the organization.
The really important conversation there was sharing her experience in the role. But also how the organization had to pivot very quickly; it was done or died when the pandemic hit. As a sales professional who has led SDRs and BDR’s new business customer success teams throughout her career, she thrives on the intersection of process and people. And has recently moved to a revenue operations role where she is supporting the sales organization to scale and grow revenue.
